Nikon D700

As I mentioned in previous entries, I was gonna finish my diploma on end of July. Guys, I'm finally graduated! And had I mentioned that my brother was going to KL and help me to move my stuffs back to Sabah too? Well, he did and as you can see in my blog, we've visited Malacca, Putrajaya and I-city. 

Not the point of the story. The point is, when we're about to fly back to Sabah, I lost my D90 and together with some other gadgets including my 50mm f1.4 lens, SB-900 flash and the one killing me, my external hard disk! I didn't even have a backup of all my works and they're gone! I will never forgive myself for losing such precious stuffs. They may not be very valuable but all of them are actually gifts from my sisters and brothers, how careless am I?

Fortunately, my brother-in-law does have a back up camera, and hence my previous posts like "Irresistible Taipei".

Well guys, FYI, I'll be flying to the UK most probably on this coming 17th of September (still waiting for my visa) to further my study in Bachelor Degree of Business and Management. My brother actually planned to upgrade my camera body for me since I'm going so far. So just yesterday, he, my sister and brother-in-law as well as my mum  pooled out some money and bought me a Nikon D700 and Nikkor 28-300 f3.5/5.6. It's a major upgrade for me as it's an FX format camera and lens! Thanks a lot to my brother, sister, brother in law and mum! Not to forget my second sister, who just gave me her iphone4 once she upgraded hers to iphone4 white! Those are like a farewell gift for me as I'm planning to come back to Malaysia only when I'm done with my Bachelor Degree.

The Nikkor 28-300 f3.5/f5.6 is such an amazing lens, and indeed exceeded my expectation! D700 is pretty awesome with its noise control too focusing speed.
